Welcome to Bill's Computer Repair!
This website was created to allow our customers to find us online. With this website, customers can see what we do, set up an appointment, or send us questions if they have any. To ensure that our goals with this website were met, the website was designed with simplicity in mind. Each page is designed with a purpose, like our about page explaining who we are, and our contact page allowing users to ask us questions.
Each page is built with the same skeleton. The header image, background, navigation bar, and position of text remain the same from page to page to follow a theme. The only parts that change from page to page are the header title and body text. Our home page functions as an introduction to the site, providing the user with a quick overview and some links to access the rest of the site. Our about page explains who we are and the purpose of this website. Our contact page allows users to send us their questions and concerns. Our appointment page allows users to set up an in-store or home appointment if they need a device repaired. Finally, our projects page shows our previous works to allows customers to see what we can do. This website utilizes darker colors to follow the "dark theme" most social media websites offer today. Some users find it more appealing to the eyes.
For the future, it would be good to add more content to the website. It currently feels kind of empty and new, but that's mainly because it is. While the contact us and about us pages feel almost complete, other pages could use attention. For the appointment page I would have liked to add a calendar that updates with the days and months, showing visually what days are available to website users. For our projects page, I would have liked to add more photos and details to each project. Our projects page should be a catalog of what we're capable of, and to help build confidence in website users that we can get the job done.
